FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • What is a locksmith?

A locksmith is highly skilled technician trained in installing new locks,

Repairing existing locks, creating and duplicating keys, and replacing lost keys for home, business, automotive and recreational vehicles. Note that not all locksmiths are trained or specialize in all of these areas.

  • What do LKE locksmiths do?

Our locksmiths have over 30 years of experience. Our locksmiths have the knowledge, experience and state of the art technology/equipment to be able to duplicate, program and make new keys for vehicles. Including vehicles up to 2023 model year at an affordable price. Our locksmiths are also highly trained and skilled to service residential and commercial properties. Extensive knowledge of installing and repairing locks such as Bluetooth compatible locks, electric strike, along with many more. Need a master key system we have you covered.

LKE locksmith is the key to all of your locksmithing needs.

  • Do all locksmiths make keys for powersport and recreational vehicles?

No, making keys for powersport and recreational vehicles requires more specialized knowledge and experience beyond your average locksmith.

Our locksmiths have that knowledge and experience, along with the tools to perform such jobs. We are able to duplicate, cut, program and make new keys for recreational vehicles such as Harley Davidson, Skidoo and Seadoo, just to name a few.

  • What are LKE's locksmith credentials?

In addition to over 30 years experience, our locksmiths are bonded and insured as well as a current and in good standing business license in Michigan. Michigan does not currently require a special license to perform locksmithing, so please be wary of the companies that state they are licensed in the state.

Let's get started.
